The article focuses on the use of modern information and communication technologies at the service scope to improve the efficiency of their operations. The article considers the new opportunities of promoting services through the Internet, the usage of low-cost electronic devices, the creation of the portal of service businesses in the region. Particular attention is drawn to the prospects of the use of information and communication technologies and the creation of common virtual space for commercial enterprises and government organizations. It is noted that despite the availability of information and communication technologies in the cities, the heads of service businesses do not always enjoy the opportunities they provide.
