Application of the tools of the national qualifications system for planning professional and career growth of students

The article discusses the experience of designing the professional path of students in secondary vocational education organizations using the example of the Chelyabinsk region. An interpretation of the results of a sociological survey of students in technical schools and colleges on planning professional and career growth using the tools of the national qualifications system is provided. Characteristics of the level of students’ awareness of employment opportunities, professional and career development is given. Positive and negative trends in the formation and development of interest in planning professional and career growth among students are noted. The situation with the presence of formed career development plans in the system of secondary vocational education is analyzed. The article is addressed to a wide range of educational and professional communities involved in training, professional adaptation of personnel, researchers, teachers of universities, colleges, technical schools, students of the advanced training system, graduate and undergraduate students of universities, industry associations of employers.
