Application of the case method on the educational practice lessons in secondary vocational education

The article presents the experience of implementing the case method in the lessons practice for the profession 13.01.10 “Electrician for the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment” at the “Satka Polytechnic College named after A. K. Savin”. To solve cases by students in the lesson, the authors use the methodology of A. Dolgorukov, described in the article. It also reveals the stages of the work of the master of industrial training when solving the case by students. The authors have proposed formulations of the content of cases for the training practice of professional modules PM 01 “Assembly, installation, adjustment and repair of units and mechanisms of equipment, units, machines, machine tools and other electrical equipment of industrial enterprises”, PM 02 “Checking and adjusting electrical equipment” and PM 03 “Elimination and prevention of accidents and malfunctions of electrical equipment”. The tasks for students to cases and solutions for them are presented. The authors pay great attention to the connection of cases with the practical activities of an electrician and work in microgroups in the process of solving a case.
