WorldSkills standards in the process of professional training of foreign language teachers in pedagogical university

The article deals with the experience of using the WorldSkills standards in the process of training future foreign languages in pedagogical institutions. There is considered the content of pedagogical competence “Teacher of basic and secondary school” by the WorldSkills standards. There is analyzed its correspondence to the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education “Pedagogical education” and the Professional Standard of a Teacher.
