The study discusses the possibilities of an interdisciplinary approach in philosophical and anthropological research and the possible construction of an interdisciplinary anthropological project relevant to the contemporary intellectual situation. The hermeneutic clarification of the initial attitudes of philosophical anthropology helps identify that the modern understanding of man as a dynamic structure changes the approach to comprehending his essence. The disclosure of the essential characteristics of a person is based on the comprehension of his “self” implemented during his interaction with the world. The study deals with a combination of such topics as man, culture, language, and experience and implies the interdisciplinary nature of problems. The research presents the event-based anthropological project that is founded on the achievements of event ontology, philosophy of culture and linguistics. The emphasis is placed on the effect of event experience in achieving the existential characteristics of the individual. The novelty of the study lies in the principle of event capture (capture is interpreted as the determination of the subject by the chronotopic structures of the event) that is the conceptual foundation of the philosophical and anthropological approach. The creative revision of the teachings of M. Heidegger, M. Scheler, and M. Foucault serves as the methodological basis for the study of man in the context of event capture.
