Principles of agonistic in professional education: advantages and disadvantages

The positive and negative aspects of the principle of agonistics in professional education, explains the need for synthesizing the agonistics in education are analyzed. The principle of«the agonistics» (competition) is understood as an adversarial system, noble competition toachieve the best result. The conclusion is that the «correct» use of the principle of agonistics allows you to reveal the ability of students to show initiative, give an opportunity to take a fresh look at the situation of competition, it is imperative that the individual in the modern competitive world. Determined in accordance with the principle of the agonistics in vocational education, competitiveness may appear in three positions. First, students see the manifestation of external competition in the struggle for something, and secondly, begin to compete among themselves, seeking to outperform their classmates, others compete with themselves for better results compared with their previous results. Especially important is a positive competition, because the success of the other at their correct interpretation of «stirred up» and forced to move on. However, in addition to the obvious advantages of the competitions listed in this article, the significant negative aspects of competition must not be ignored. Rivalry often leads to humiliation of human dignity, harms health and even ends in tragedy for one or all of the contending parties (the most prominent example of such competition is war). Under current market conditions agonistics is an objective reality, and the formation of the competitiveness imperative. However, the use of the principle of agonistics in the system of professional education must be accompanied by overcoming its negative sides.
