Principles of formation of the ensemble of the orthodox temple complex

This article discusses architectural and landscape techniques for the formation of Orthodox church complexes in Russia, including monastic and parish ones, and on the basis of compositional, situational, spatial planning analysis, the principles of the formation of an ensemble of an Orthodox temple complex on the territory of modern Russia are derived. Concrete examples of Orthodox temple complexes illustrating the revealed principles are considered, taking into account their compositional and town-planning features. The purpose of this study is to systematize and generalize the principles of the formation of ensembles of Orthodox temple complexes on the basis of the classification given by the author.
