Principles of cognitive linguistics

This article is devoted to the study of the principles of cognitive linguistics. Such concepts as "cognition", "cognitive linguistics" and "linguistic worldview" are considered and analyzed. The relationship between cognitive linguistics and human cognitive abilities is revealed. An example of the metaphor "glasses" is given, according to which the native language and culture have a significant impact on the formation of an idea of the world, distorting the vision of reality.
