Economic management in Ancient Egypt implemented the following principles: cultural legitimization of the sanctions applied, differentiation of incentives and punishments, institutional determination of the official''s activity, his increased responsibility for economic crimes. The implementation of these principles in practice was an important condition for social reproduction and ensuring the smooth operation of the social and economic system of the Nile state. These principles are very relevant to this day.
