In modern realities, many factors influence the formation of investment decisions. Theoretically, it is considered that an investor makes a decision to buy or sell an underlying asset based on the economic, political and news background, but modern conditions are making their own adjustments. Increasingly, in analytical notes and scientific articles, one can find the concept of sentiment, which means the current market mood. The main problem is the inability to quantify market sentiment. It is worth noting that this issue has been repeatedly raised in the academic community, but it has not been reduced to one general solution. In this scientific work, the decomposition of the investment decision-making process by a private investor takes place.
