Acquiring spiritual values of national culture in the process of shaping a student's language personality

An important problem of student's spirituality shaping in the process of native language study at an institution of higher education is raised in the article. The author proves the necessity for using texts with ethnocultural material at classes of Russian language in order to raise awareness of traditions and everyday life of Russian people and its moral values.
