Priorities of modern criminal policy in countering the drug threat

The article analyses the state of drug situation and drug crime, describes the preventive measures taken, indicates the need to improve methods and means of drug crime prevention; in the context of countering the drug threat the norms of criminal law on confiscation of property and evasion of administrative supervision as well as the norms of the Federal Law on administrative supervision over persons who have served their sentences are analyzed; changes aimed at preventing criminal activity are suggested.
