This article discusses comic as a category of aesthetics, as well as determined by its basic forms and methods of creation. In addition, the marked features of the comic in modern society. Based on the works of other authors affected by constructive and destructive effects of comic. The major tasks of the article are: first, a brief classify of comedy programs modern Russian TV, and secondly, to determine the form and methods of comedy used of the genres contemporary programs, and thirdly, to designate important functions performed by the television humor.
