The article attempts to identify the nature of neo-Nazism in Ukraine. The objective and subjective factors that ensured its appearance are revealed. The author believes that the revival of right-wing Ukrainian nationalism, the glorifi cation of Bandera and other accomplices of German Nazism, the imposition of Russophobe sentiments served as the origins and became the ideology and practice of the neo-Nazi regime in Ukraine. So do the violation of civil rights and freedoms of the Russian-speaking population, and ideas inspired by neo-Nazis about the “superiority” of the Ukrainian nation over the Russian nation. The paper substantiates that the priority of the current Ukrainian authorities is to incite hatred and completely separate the two Slavic peoples in favor of the United States and its allies. Based on domestic and foreign sources, the author substantiates that neo-Nazism in Ukraine is encouraged and supported by unfriendly states. The author concludes that the West at the present stage is pursuing in Ukraine an identical policy that it implemented on the eve of World War II in relation to Nazi Germany.
