The purpose of the study is to show the problems that exist in solar energy during the operation of power plants in the natural and climatic conditions of the Karakum Desert and the possibility of increasing the energy efficiency of power plants. Methods the content of the Karakum sand is studied and possible solutions and developments are given that help reduce the negative factors of dust storms for the generation of solar energy in the electrical and thermal desert zone of the Karakum. The results obtained are the following results when cleaning dust particles: natural electric charge is 77%; corona electrodes, additionally charging dust particles, reaches 95%. Conclusions the use of corona electrodes to prevent pollution will be quite effective for large arrays of solar panels and collectors. the obtained results of the study will replenish and increase the energy generation of photoconverters and collectors for various purposes of solar technological installations.
