The author’s problem in modern drama. The article deals with the urgent and new problem: the role and the place of an author in modern Russian drama. Based on Russian and western works on drama theory, the researcher shows different ways in studying author’s problem in modern drama. The total author’s influence on all components of drama made this «new new drama» contradictory and phenomenal one.
