The spirituality and wholeness of modern education

The problem of modern education and pedagogy is quite relevant today, since humanity is on the verge of an ecological, nuclear, chemical and biological crisis, terrorism, moral degeneration, and an increasing disregard for culture, traditions and values. Education influenced by the market ignores an integrated approach: the intellectual, physical, and cultural needs of students. These issues raised questions about the results of modern education. Since such education cannot balance and satisfy the complex needs of students; therefore, this article examines how holistic learning and teaching can pave the way for the 21st century education model. Based on the study, it can be concluded that holistic education will help future generations to choose the correct guidelines in life.
