The problem of man and society in the post-war and 1960-1980s in the genre of essay

This article examines and analyzes such issues as the formation and development of essay works as a genre, their substantive, ideological-thematic, genre-structural features in Kyrgyz literature of the 60-80s. We see that in these years, in terms of genre and structure, such genres of essays as travel essays, portrait essays, autobiographical essays were developing, but problematic and historical essays were less developed. Also, qualitatively improved essays in the 60s and remarkable travel essays created in the 80s were analyzed. In conclusion, it was noted that essay works of the 60s-80s best reflected in literature the activity of promoting agenda issues covering all spheres of public life.
