Civic consciousness and patriotism of students in the modern world: from protest to creative activity

The problem of patriotism, civic consciousness and the creative activity development in its scientific and social significance - one of the classic problems of the past, present and future, is discussed. This problem has always been an integral part of the educational process. And today, on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War - one of the guidelines for education and training. The main directions of research of scientists (philosophers, political scientists, historians, educators, psychologists, sociologists, cultural scientists) are determined. The relevance of the problem is revealed, the terms are clarified: citizenship, patriotism, civic activity, creative activity, civic socialization. The methodological foundations of the formation of civic consciousness and patriotism of students are highlighted. Effective forms, methods and means are allocated that contribute to the development of creative activity of the individual; factors contributing to the development of creative activity of the individual. The necessity of creating pedagogical conditions in the process of preparing students for activities on civil-patriotic education of the younger generation is substantiated. The purpose of the article is to analyze the theoretical foundations and practical experience in developing the creative activity of the individual, to clarify the content of the concept of «creative activity», the formation of which, in our opinion, can be the basis for the successful inclusion of a student in socially significant activities.
