The article is devoted to the study of problems related to the formation of interest in pedagogical knowledge among undergraduate students. In the course of the study, the concepts of situational and individual interest were considered, and a developing model aimed at forming interest in pedagogical knowledge among students was determined. The article also discusses the main phases of the development of interest in knowledge among students of higher educational institutions. The results of the study showed that first-year students studying at the University of Literature and Humanities show a special interest in obtaining new knowledge.
