It offers a constructive approach to the interpretation of the text on the example of Mordovian popular fairy tales “Harvest in winter”, “Unfinished bast shoe”, “Hot sled”, as well as the way out for the hermeneutic circle with the help of proverbs and illustrations on the one hand, and the search for ethical reasons on the other hand; it emphasizes the positive synthesis of ethical and exemplary interpretations.
