The problem of the effectiveness of legislation

The paper deals with the problem of the effectiveness of legislation in terms of modern approaches and practices of its scientific development and solution techniques. The purpose of the study is not only to identify several aspects of ensuring the effective legislation and lawmaking in general but also to demonstrate possible areas of prospective scientific developments and practical solutions to this issue. The paper notes that existing approaches to determining the efficiency criteria for legislation should be supplemented by a broader list that has regard to legal monitoring and legislative improvements of other countries. The legislative effectiveness is considered as a common challenge typical for modern political and legal life in many states. It can be solved when developing and implementing a specialized discussion platform at the supreme legislative bodies.
