The subject of the research is interpersonal interaction in Russian philosophy of the XVI century. Sources – correspondence between Ivan the Terrible and Andrei Kurbsky, “The Book of Degrees”, “Domostroy”, “The Enlightener”. The aim of this article is to study the problem of interpersonal interaction and its foundations in Russian theistic philosophy of the XVI century. There are no works in the Russian history of philosophy that explore the problem of interpersonal interaction in Russian philosophy of the XVI century. It is shown that the problem of interpersonal interaction was considered at that time. The philosophical foundations of such interaction are defined. This is the novelty of the research. Interpersonal interaction in XVI Russian philosophy can be represented within the framework of two levels of its being: an action performed in the material world (obviously, an ontological conviction in one’s own interpretation of religion makes a person responsible for his actions before the transcendent) and the sacred (transcendent being, according to the ideas of that time, can be described theistically – the sacred and profane coexist in the human person and the world around him, while the sacred influences the profane, which leads to the existence of signsomens, miracles, etc.).
