The problem of musical thinking in the context of a hornist's performing activity

The given work is devoted to the problem of a performing musician's musical thinking. The author considers separately performing and creative activity. Describes their interrelation with musical thinking. On the basis of the analysis of the scientific works of the well-known performing musicians and teachers regarding the concerning problem the conclusions connected with the specificity of the musical-performing activity are made.
