The problem of assigning a survivor’s insurance pension for children born after the death of their father: the role of germ cell storage and IVF procedures in modern legislation

The article touches upon the problem of the irrelevance of the current legislation in terms of the appointment of an insurance pension for the loss of a breadwinner for children who were born after the death of the father, with the help of storing gametes in a cryobank and the subsequent IVF procedure. The relevance of the research topic is determined by the presence of a real problem of ensuring the rights of persons in this category. In his study, the author formulated proposals aimed at protecting motherhood and childhood, supporting families with children and overcoming demographic challenges, as well as the formation of new judicial practice, proposed a change in the current legislation.
