The problem of low effectiveness of HIV prevention in modern schools

Бесплатный доступ

Currently, according to a number of statistical studies, about 80 % of all confirmed cases of HIV infection occur in people aged 20 to 39 years, with an increasing number of new cases being detected in the first of these decades. Using data on the pathways of infection and the age of detection of the disease, it can be concluded that graduates of schools and organizations of secondary vocational education are extremely susceptible to infection in the population. To date, educational activities are of invaluable importance in the fight against HIV infection, so we have created a cyclic logical sequence that gradually describes the process of educational activities among high school students. It includes the following five links: “HIV prevention-goal / result”; “Updating knowledge about the problem of HIV infection in the pedagogical environment”; “Creating teaching aids and training programs”;” Conducting training sessions (to a certain extent, sex education lessons)”;”Horizontal dissemination of knowledge among students”. As the study shows, the most problematic today are the III-V links.
