The problem of attributing arbitration assessors to judges in the arbitration process of the Russian Federation

This article focuses on the current issue of arbitration jurisdiction in Russia, namely, the problem of determining the status of arbitration assessors in the context of their comparison with judges in the arbitration process. The paper examines the main legal and practical aspects of this problem, including the regulatory framework defining the position of arbitration assessors, their functions, as well as issues of their appointment and responsibility. The study covers a comparative analysis of the powers and status of arbitration assessors and judges in the arbitration process, identifying possible inconsistencies and contradictions in legislation and application practice. The author analyzes possible solutions to this problem, offering practical recommendations for improving legislation and procedural mechanisms in order to ensure a clearer and more balanced differentiation of the roles of arbitration assessors and judges in the arbitration proceedings of the Russian Federation.
