A problem of mastering by skills of the competent letter as parts of culture

In modern education system reformation concepts special importance is attached to school leavers' preliminary training which is to provide the principles of education continuity, its fundamental nature and integrity, and to achieve the objectives of future specialist vocation training. School leavers' unsatisfactory mother tongue training is a serious obstacle on the way of their adaptation in the society. Organizing preliminary course classes using individual-oriented techniques and programmes based on the principles of fundamentalization, continuity, vocation orientation and pedagogical integration is one of the methods of solving the problem. The suggested spelling training system is rather effective and fully corresponds with modern education development tendencies. It is based on consideration of age peculiarities of students who are able to master the material with the help of integrated didactic units and to combine information in accordance with thinking micro-strategies. Teaching must be individual-oriented, taking into account psychological peculiarities of each specific student. Being a complex which includes pedagogical, psychological, linguistic and didactic components teaching should be based on the leading representative perception canals (visual, hearing, kinesthetic). The consideration of the problem of spelling skills, i. e. a communication constituent, makes this study topical.
