The issue of foreign sociology periodization and vectors of development of post-non-classical direction

The article is focused on analyzing the issues of periodization of foreign theoretical sociology, identifying the specifics of its post-non-classical stage, as well as determining the main vectors of contemporary development. A comparison of different ways of classifying the process of historical development of the considered scientific field into stages is discussed. An approach to periodization based on three aspects, i.e. subject-issue, methodological and deontological, is suggested. The author concludes that post-non-classical theories are characterized by close attention to current issues of modernity, the combination of macrosociological and microsociological approaches in the methodological field, the collinearity of development vectors in the study of social structure and personal activity. It is concluded that post-non-classical sociology distinctly integrates two vectors of the development of the subject field of science: the study of patterns of the development of social space as a whole and the study of the dynamics of human interaction with the social environment.
