The issue of searching ground burials in Suzdal Opolye

The article discusses possibilities of applying of geophysical prospections for the detection of the borders and the spatial organization of the burial sites in Suzdal Opolye region in the Volga-Oka interfluve. Medieval burial sites in this region at present have no visible signs on the surface. Special attention is focused on the detection of flat graves at Shekshovo 9 burial site, and the comparison of the data obtained by geophysical prospection and those from archaeological excavations at this site.
