The problem of multilingualism in linguistic pedagogy

In the clause the problem of multilingualism in the modern educational system in Russia is considered. Special attention is paid to the development of multilingual competences in conditions of simultaneous learning of several foreign languages. The article also discusses how to fully acquire these competences. In addition, the question of choosing the most appropriate methods of learning foreign languages is also touched upon. The article focuses on the methods of N.V. Baryshnikov and H.G. Klein. The article also discusses ways to create a full-fledged system of multilingual education in Russia. In addition, the paper addresses the issue of multifunctional interaction between linguistics and related fields of knowledge to develop multilingual competences of learners.
