The present article is devoted to the study of the criminal procedural status of aperson in respect of whom the proceedings on the application of compulsory measures of medicalnature are conducted. The problem lies in its legislative uncertainty: the lack of a single name ofsuch persons, the list of rights that they can realise in the process and so on. The object of thework is public relations that are formed within the framework of criminal proceedings on theapplication of coercive measures of medical nature.
