The issues of studying the words of calling and repelling animals: preliminary comments

The article deals with the fundamental issues of studying the words of calling and repelling animals: their functional-semantic and lexical-grammatical status, the etymological analysis and the problems of differentiating the calling words and the onomatopes. There are analysed the most debating aspects of the theoretical and practical definition of the words of calling and repelling animals, that are interpreted as the certain anomaly, because the studied material is the fixation of the oral speech and is not nearly presented in the lexicographical sources, and its system description and study cause the objective difficulties.
