Applied aspects of the theory of making managerial decisions in the logistics of utilitarian service are investigated using the example of the catering sector. A problem-oriented approach is adopted, which assumes the use of methods for the economic diagnosis of problems in the context of general economic and special functions of logistics management. Recommendations are given on the collection, processing and accumulation of information reflecting the experience of solving problem situations.
