Problematic aspects of the concept of "indefinite number of persons" in civil proceedings

This article examines the theoretical and legal foundations of the concept of "indefinite number of persons" in the civil proceedings, which inevitably have to face when initiating civil cases by the prosecutor. Based on the analysis of various scientific approaches, legislative provisions, judicial practice, it is proposed to interpret the concept under consideration primarily taking into account the variability and unpredictability of the circle of persons whose interests are protected in court. As a result of the analysis, conclusions are drawn about the need to make additions to the Civil Procedure Code of the Russian Federation in order to clarify this concept.
