Problematic aspects of tightening liability for trash streams in the Russian Federation

The purpose of the study is to consider, analyze and assess the problems of a new virtual phenomenon of modern society - «trash stream», the consequences of which began to acquire a criminal nature and serious consequences for persons participating in humiliating and unsafe actions for health and life. Bullying, fights and even murders receive millions of views and likes on social networks. People even pay for it. Over the past decade, trash streams have become one of the favorite spectacles of Internet users. Such bloggers do everything for attention. Even if it is through condemnation, through punishment. For them, this is in any case better than nothing! Because if they pay attention to me, then I live. If they don’t pay attention to me, then I don’t exist, this is the essence of these bloggers. The research methodology is based on a dialectical-materialistic approach to the knowledge of the designated phenomena and facts. The theoretical basis was made up of scientific works of leading scientists in the field of domestic criminal law; regulatory - legal acts in the analyzed area; empirical - materials of judicial practice, statistical data. The result of the analysis carried out in the article were conclusions and proposals on the need to determine the boundaries of criminal behavior and legislative assessment of responsibility for organizing and conducting online broadcasts of trash streams.
