Problem situations as a means to develop cognitive independence (based on the study of humanities subjects in the 5th—7th grades of a general high school)

The article focuses on the problem of development of cognitive independence among schoolchildren through problem situations. The author explores the opportunity to use humanities subjects in the capacity of a purposeful means helpful in developing cognitive independence among the 5 th—7 th grade schoolchildren at a general high school.
