Problematic issues arising in the organization of socio-cultural activities of cadets of educational organizations of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia

The article analyzes the peculiarities of the organization of socio-cultural activities of students of higher educational institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia. Special attention is paid to the role of students’ involvement in socio-cultural events as the most important factor in the formation of high moral, social and professional qualities of future law enforcement officers. The article presents the results of an empirical study on the degree of involvement of cadets in socio-cultural activities, examines their motivational attitudes, levels of need and readiness to participate in cultural and social events, and identifies imbalances between the possibilities of participation in these events and the real needs of cadets. Based on the analysis, the author draws conclusions about the need to create favorable conditions in educational institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the effective functioning of this process. In particular, it is emphasized that pedagogical methods of managing socio-cultural activities require constant updating and improvement, taking into account the changing conditions and needs of both society and students themselves.
