The problems of the motor transport in Russia

The article deals with the most important issues of the motor vehicle transport, such as: bad condition of the highway network, road traffic safety, adverse environmental impact, large depreciation of the vehicles, unavailability of transport services in the outlying districts, etc. It is noted, that the economy of the country suffers heavily due to the problems in transportation sector. For resolution of these problems it is necessary to develop the financing, in particular, to attract the private investment and to form the traffic funds.
