Problems of unity of interpretation of the principles of protection of children's rights in the system of international law

The article analyzes the current international legal acts on ensuring the rights of minors, with the ultimate goal of identifying existing doctrinal problems that hinder the functioning of an effective human rights mechanism. The article examines the experience of foreign countries and regional associations, on the basis of which the author's classification of the «principles of protection of children's rights» is proposed. It is concluded that there is an asymmetry of legal regulation in the field of protection of children's rights caused by historical, systemic, thematic and other prerequisites.
