Problems of physical culture and sport in the north west of Russia and ways of solution

The article considers the problems of the North-Western Federal District, their solutions, as well as the active role of the state in the development of physical culture and sports, the influence of natural and climatic conditions on the sports preferences of the population, the importance of sports is noted. The most important indicator of the development of physical culture and sports is the provision of the industry with physical culture and sports personnel. The development and implementation of health-forming technologies, the support of physical culture and sports at the state level, the formation of public opinion on the need for a healthy lifestyle, the development of sports infrastructure and the creation of conditions for mass sports are the components of success and further development of physical culture and sports.
