Problems of forming legal culture among students of secondary vocational education

The article is devoted to the formation of legal culture among Russian students. The study analyzes the features of students receiving a secondary non-legal vocational education (age, professional orientation of learning activities, and involvement in legal affairs). The author classifies the problems faced or likely to be faced by teachers in the process of formation of legal culture among students of secondary vocational education. They include personal awareness of the need for legal culture, the specific features of subjective characteristics in students when forming legal culture, the content of education based on peculiarities of career choice. It is concluded that the localization and the subsequent suppression in relation to the identified deformation of students’ legal awareness are possible as a result of applying special pedagogical tools (for example, case technology) provided that a teacher has the professional action, professional social and personal competence.
