Problems and prospects of perfection of legislation about appeals of citizens

The article reveals the basis of consideration of citizens ' appeals and the essence of interaction of the population with public authorities. Analysis of the current legislation on citizens ' appeals shows that in many cases it does not provide timely, thorough, competent consideration of appeals on the merits, does not effectively prevent the violation of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of citizens, ensure their timely and full protection and restoration in case of violation. Based on the analysis, a set of measures to improve the quality of work with citizens.
