The article examines the problems and difficulties of professional socialization of young teachers. Every year, the professional socialization of a teacher is becoming more complex in modern society. The research was carried out on the basis of two schools: Municipal Educational Institution «Secondary School Khoytobeye», Ivolginskiy District and MAOU «Secondary School #54», Ulan - Ude, the Republic of Buryatia. The opinion of young teachers is analyzed and the opinion of the administrative staff of schools is taken into account. The purpose of the article is to present the results of a study of the main problems and difficulties in the professional sphere of young teachers, an idea of the prospects and further professional growth. The problems and difficulties are based on such aspects of professional socialization as: a differentiated approach to students, the teaching workload, remuneration, teaching staff attestation procedure and poorly developed emotional intelligence.
