Today, the construction industry, against the background of a decline in the development of many industries, has, although not significant, but a certain growth dynamics. Despite this, construction companies are exposed to various risks, which, to one degree or another, affect the goals and results of companies and their investment attractiveness. Construction in Russia, following the example of many Western countries, is associated with capital investment, which can be carried out at any stage of the construction project. An unnecessarily risky project can alienate potential investors, especially in the current crisis period for many industries. For a more profitable use of the funds, it is necessary to determine the economic efficiency of investments in the proposed options, and based on the analysis, choose the most rational of them, focusing on a specific situation under the influence of various factors of the external and internal environment. Risk assessment is a top priority for contractors. The study presents a methodology for assessing risks based on the sensitivity of the project to changes in factors and proposes a model for integrating this methodology into the “construction” industry. According to the authors, this technique will make it possible to predict and significantly reduce risks at all stages of construction, thereby increasing the investment attractiveness of the project. The directions of the formation of an effective project through the system of implementation of the appropriate tools are also proposed. The combination of the proposed methods will make it possible to create an effective mechanism for solving the problems of investing in the construction industry at the present stage of development.
