Problems of ideographic representation of the compound term object group semantics

This paper deals with some problems that occur during the ideographic representation of semantic structure of the compound term object lexical-semantic group. The paper proves the necessity of extending the classical Karaulov method of ideographic representation and shifting from 2D graphs to net semantic structures. The research is performed on the basis of the material from the traumatology subject field. Karaulov’s ideographic method has been extended in order to represent not only the elements of object language but also the metalanguage elements which form the semantic structure of the subject field on the basis of above-mentioned elements of object language.
