Problems of property liability of private practice notaries

The article is devoted to the issues of property liability of notaries engaged in private practice in the Russian Federation. The article examines the problems associated with the property liability of private notaries, which is provided for in order to ensure effective protection of the rights and interests of citizens and legal entities, namely, the problem of compensation for full property damage caused by the actions (inaction) of a notary. The issue of insurance of civil liability of notaries, provided for by the Fundamentals of Legislation of the Russian Federation on Notaries, is considered. The author proposes to amend the mechanism of compensation for damage caused by the actions (inaction) of the notary.
