Problems of the institute of parental relationship

The article examines one of the topical for modern Russian law issues of the content of the institutions of «motherhood», «fatherhood», «childhood» and «parenting». Special emphasis is placed on the sub-institute of parenting - the right and duty of upbringing. The material of the research is presented directly through the analysis of theoretical developments on the data of family legal relations and the existing judicial practice. The features, types of parental relationships, their subject composition are highlighted, the issues of upbringing in the family, the problems of regulation of parental relationships are revealed, and the directions of their improvement are named.
