The article reveals the problems of using innovative types of advertising on the Russian outdoor advertising market. Article gives the examples of innovations in the industry and the reasons for their ignoring by the organizations in the industry. It is concluded that innovative types of advertising structures are technologically difficult to operate and expensive for Russian outdoor advertising operators, and due to the difference in cultural realities, the attitude to outdoor advertising in Russia is completely different than in other countries.
