Problems of using new evidence in the court of appeal

The article discusses the problem of using new evidence in the court of appeal, the existing limitations in their presentation. The Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation allows the parties to submit new evidence when filing an appeal. Based on this, a question may arise in the classification of evidence, criteria and restrictions in their acceptance by the court and foreign practice.
